Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Incredible food here. My girlfriend got the butter chicken and I got the achari chicken, both extremely flavorful. The waiter gave really good recommendations for our differing spice preferences. Highly recommend!!!

Their entrance is on Court Pl. not on Jefferson Ave. Turn left around the corner from Quigley's Irish Pub I had a wonderful lunch at Viceroy Indian Restaurant and left thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding; warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made me feel right at home, and I honestly cannot say anything negative about the service. The food was excellent as well. The garlic naan was absolute perfection, fluffy, flavorful, with just the right amount of garlic and perfectly charred spots. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had. I ordered the spicy lamb curry, and the curry sauce itself was amazingly rich, bold, and packed with authentic spices that had just the right heat level. The lamb was tasty, though it could have been a touch more tender. That said, I know finding consistently melt-in-your-mouth lamb isn’t always easy, so I wasn’t bothered by it. Overall, the dish was still a winner. I finished with gulab jamun, which was pretty good, sweet, warm, and satisfying after the spicy meal. What really stood out was the value. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service you

We had arranged our daughter's graduation party here. The owner, Mr. Ali was very helpful and accommodative and let us come in early to set up the decoration. He also kept the restaurant closed for the entire afternoon to host the private event. We had 65 guests altogether which felt a little crowded for the space, but we managed. Foods were really good and reasonably priced. Everybody liked the food and enjoyed the afternoon. Thanks to Mr. Ali and his crew for the whole arrangement with a 2 weeks notice.

I saw this place is pretty close to us and it had high ratings. I’ve been to a bunch of Indian restaurants already so I’m no novice to the cuisine. When I look at the menu, I try to look for dishes that I’ve never had. I know our waiter suggested butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, but those are the most popular safe dishes for non Indians. I say safe dishes because your average American that walks in, is not going to order something that he/she doesn’t know what it is. We ordered chicken 65, kashmiri naan, spinach chicken, kadhai lamb, and tandoori shrimp. Just a FYI, the water bottle(s) that come to your table are $2 each. They’re not free. Portion sizes are average. Prices were fair. Service was great and attentive. Usually, there would be parking in the front and back. However, for some reason they were both full and there were barely any customers inside the restaurant. You can also park at the nearby parking garage (top level). That’s a 2 min walk. -chicken 65 5 - this reminds me of a Chinese dish but I can’t remember. I’m talking about the texture when you’re eating it. As an Indian appetizer, it was delicious and would pair well with rice. Very addicting to eat. -kas

Absolutely delicious! The butter chicken and gobi manchurian were bursting with flavor, and the garlic naan was perfectly soft with just the right amount of garlic. This is exactly the kind of quality I expect from great Indian cuisine. That being said, it’s overpriced for the portions offered. We finished everything in one sitting, there was barely any rice, chicken, or gobi manchurian, but plenty of sauce… When I opened the container, I had to search through a sea of sauce just to find the small portion of chicken hidden inside. The only reason this is a 5-star review is because the quality truly didn’t disappoint. For $40+, I really wish the portions were more generous. At that price point, I might as well just make it myself at home.
